Sims 4: Public Enemy Aspiration Guide | Screen Rant

The Sims 4 has many aspirations for players to achieve, including the Public Enemy option for mean and evil Sims. Each aspiration has four levels to complete and awards players a unique, permanent trait. Completing tasks also gives players points that can be spent on the rewards store, which can help with achieving other aspirations.

Awarded or purchased traits can open new options for interactions or eliminate a Sim's needs. This gives players more freedom to complete additional aspirations more easily, or freely explore other aspects of the game, like romancing the Grim Reaper. Some levels of aspirations are much harder than others, and they can be somewhat vague. Players looking to complete the Public Enemy track can use a few tricks to finish it quickly.

Each of the four levels in the aspiration has three tasks to complete, except level one, which only has two. The Public Enemy aspiration gets progressively harder, and more evil, with each level. Sims will need to make a few enemies, get into fights, become a professional criminal, and even witness the death of another Sim in order to achieve goals. Completing these tasks without cheats can be time-consuming, but there are methods to use to speed up the process. Finishing the aspiration will award players the Mastermind trait, which gives a Sim the ability to cause anger, sadness, or jealousy in another.

Players who want an evil experience can install the Sims 4 Violence Mod or focus on the Public Enemy aspiration. Finishing the goals in this aspiration can be challenging and a bit monotonous when it comes to the career portion. The challenges in the Public Enemy aspiration appear below:

Public Enemy Aspiration

Level 1: Mostly Harmless

  • Perform 10 mischievous or mean interactions
  • Be disliked by two Sims

Level 2: Neighborhood Nuisance

  • Become an adult
  • Join the Criminal Career
  • Be disliked by four Sims

Level 3: Criminal Mind

  • Reach level 4 of the Criminal Career
  • Get into five fights
  • Have a declared enemy

Level 4: Public Enemy

  • Reach level 8 of the Criminal Career
  • Have three declared enemies
  • Witness the death of a Sim

At the start of the Public Enemy aspiration, Sims should immediately join the criminal career. It isn't a goal until level two, but players should get a head start as this is the most time-consuming aspect of the aspiration. Reaching level eight without cheats can take a while, but Sims with traits like evil, dastardly, or mean can easily gain moodlets that speed up career progression. Players will need to commit as much time as possible to the career portion of this aspiration. Sims shouldn't miss any days, should go to work in the right mood, and must be sure to complete daily tasks as they become available. Players who have rewards points to spend can also buy the Connections trait from the store and start their career at level 4, which should help speed up progress toward the aspiration.

For the other tasks in this aspiration, players will need to perform mean or evil actions toward other Sims. Declaring an enemy is only an option when Sims despise each other. The other goals will naturally lead a Sim to despise the player's Sim, and getting into a fight fast-tracks this as well.

Witnessing death is the only other part of the aspiration that players may have trouble with. The best options are either to wait for an elderly Sim to die of old age, or purposely cause the death of a Sim by controlling their environment. The Public Enemy Sim needs to be in the room and react to the death for it to count.
