RHONY: Castmates Allegedly Left Book Party Once Eboni Arrived

The Real Housewives of New York City cast is reportedly still feuding as three cast members fled a recent book launch after their castmate Eboni K. Williams arrived. Eboni joined the most recent season of the Bravo series, making her the first Black full-time cast member to be a New York housewife. At first, viewers were excited to see her on the show and what she would bring to the table, especially since Eboni is an accomplished attorney and advocate for the Black community. However, during her time on the show, Eboni had a difficult time connecting with the women.

She joined the show through Leah McSweeney, whose confessionals surprised Eboni, and the two had a great bond. But it took some time for her to get to know Luann de Lesseps and Ramona Singer. Eboni and Luann feuded early on the season after the cabaret star was accused of calling Eboni "an angry black woman." Luann apologized the following day and that is not what she intended in the conversation, with Eboni offering forgiveness. Eboni and Ramona did have fun together; however, Ramona was always afraid of Eboni making her seem as though she is a racist.

An insider told Page Six this week that Ramona, Luann, and Leah fled Dave Quinn’s Not All Diamonds and Rosé book party at Capitale on Tuesday shortly after Eboni, who expressed interest in The View, arrived. "Luann, Leah, and Ramona had a pact [that] as soon as Eboni showed up, they would leave," the source confessed. "When Eboni entered from the right, they all were on the left and exited." The three ladies allegedly fled as soon as they saw Eboni walk through the door. Page Six was told that the reason why the women left once Eboni arrived is they blame her for the decline in ratings for RHONY season 13. However, their source disagrees with the women. They added, "They just hate her because they ain’t her."

Nonetheless, Eboni wasn't bothered by her castmate's sudden departure from the party as she had a ball without them. Not only did she have a great time, but she finally got to meet RHONY alum Dorinda Medley, who showed support for the show. Eboni admitted that Dorinda reached out to her via social media after she was announced as one of the new RHONY cast members to offer her congratulations. The publication did reach out to representatives for Ramona, Luann, and Leah; however, they did not comment on the situation. Eboni has spoken out against the claims that she is the reason for the show's decline in ratings, adding that her preachiness had nothing to do with the viewer's contempt for the show. In fact, Eboni believes if the women hadn’t "exhibited microaggressions" while filming, she wouldn't have had to call them out.

If this report is true, it seems the women are still not over the terrible season they had with Eboni, who denied suing Bravo. While the decline in ratings had nothing to do with her, the women still blame her for it. Hopefully, the ladies can all make amends in time for filming The Real Housewives of New York City season 14.
