Knowing how to choose the best huddle answers in Marvel's Guardians of the Galaxy is vital for turning the tide of a poor combat situation. When the team is down, Star-Lord has the option to call a team huddle. No matter what happens in the huddle the whole team will be revived, but saying the right things to the team will help them come back stronger than they were before.
When the team is huddled, Star-Lord has one of three choices to make that affect the outcome of the huddle. While they don't affect the story, these choices impact the Guardians of the Galaxy in that fight immediately after the huddle is over. If Star-Lord chooses to say nothing, the decision time will run out and the team will be revived. If Star-Lord chooses the answer that the team didn't need then only Star-Lord receives a bonus to damage. Whenever Star-Lord chooses the correct answer the whole team becomes motivated, and everyone receives the buff.
More specifically, actions that are performed within the battle can trigger the team huddle. The Huddle gauge fills more every time a character uses a Guardian ability, and the more abilities are used the faster the Huddle gauge fills up. Issuing squad orders in Guardians of the Galaxy is the quickest way to call on the other Guardians to use one ability after another.
Once the team Huddle is called, the rest of the Guardians will let Star-Lord know how they are feeling. The words that the rest of the Guardians use to describe how they're feeling are hints toward the correct answer, which may require Star-Lord to say something inspiring or refocus the team if they're getting too cocky. For example, if the team needs to be inspired and Star-Lord reminds them not to be cocky then only Star-Lord will receive the damage buff.
The first time the Huddle is called is during chapter 1 after everyone is reunited. During this particular Huddle, the team mentions that the enemy is laughing at them and things are looking scary. The keywords are floating above their heads and read "Laughing at us!" and "scary." It's a charming addition to Guardians of the Galaxy as Star-Lord's best answer here is "Laugh in the face of danger." After players select it they'll see all Guardians rise once more with a glowing aura indicating the damage boost is active.
Marvel's Guardians of the Galaxy is available for PC, Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S.
