How Many Chapters Marvel's Guardians Of The Galaxy Has

Marvel's Guardians of the Galaxy features a newly formed squad of heroes looking to make their name across the stars over the course of the game's story chapters. Guardians of the Galaxy takes place at a time where the Guardians have just found their beginnings, and dialogue in the early chapters shows the distrust the team members have amongst each other while showing the bonds some members formed before the start of the game. Unlike the 2014 movie, Marvel's Guardians of the Galaxy shows that Star-Lord, Groot, and Rocket have been a team for some time, while Gamora and Drax have just joined.

Every chapter in Marvel's Guardians of the Galaxy puts Star-Lord in several positions to strengthen the bonds of the Guardians, allowing players to have a unique decision-based experience. Some of the most impactful choices in Marvel's Guardians of the Galaxy's story determine the overall playthrough, and the many chapters within the game provide many choices that have to be made within a few seconds of the option becoming available. While Marvel's Guardians of the Galaxy is a third-person shooter, the number of chapters, and their decisions within, make the game partially feel like an interactive-movie experience.

In addition to the prologue, there are 16 chapters in Marvel's Guardians of the Galaxy. Each chapter varies in length, and how long it takes to beat Marvel's GotG depends on how much players want to explore and find every outfit and collectible in the game. There are also plenty of people and items to interact with that deliver their own humor or bits of story, and play time can vary depending on how laser-focused players are on getting through the game.

While the player can control the actions of the other Guardians, Marvel's Guardians of the Galaxy puts Star-Lord at the center of the action. As captain of the Milano and leader of the Guardians of the Galaxy, it's up to Star-Lord to settle disputes, motivate the team, and encourage the Guardians to be themselves. In turn, the "captain of a new team experience" really feels like decisions and outcomes are in control of the player and not a linear story arch. Additionally, although it's a solo experience, combat squad orders in Marvel's Guardians of the Galaxy make gameplay feel like a team-bonding experience.

Alternatively, players can reload a save file before any decision was made and choose another outcome, or select a chapter to replay from the main menu. Whether it's making a different decision in conversation or changing the soundtrack in Marvel's Guardians of the Galaxy, each chapter presents a unique opportunity to shape how the Guardians work together.
