Fandom's For The Love Of Fans Contest Reveals The Boys Poster [EXCLUSIVE]

Screen Rant has an exclusive look at The Boys poster being given away as part of Fandom's "For the Love of Fans" contest. Seasons 1 and 2 of the series, based on the comics by Garth Ennis and Darick Robertson, are currently available to stream on Amazon Prime Video. In September, season 3 of The Boys wrapped filming, but a release date has yet to be announced.

Fandom is celebrating The Boys as part of their "For the Love of Fans" campaign. Launched in August, "For the Love of Fans" highlights some of the biggest franchises and fan communities including Star Trek, Star WarsDoom Patrol, Diablo II, and Resident Evil through weekly contests. Fans have a chance to win a one-of-a-kind art piece from their favorite fandom created by influential fan artists. Past pieces were created by Ethan Castillo (The Elder Scrolls), Brian Ewing (The Last of Us), Steve Casino (Metroid), and J.J. Lendl (Star Trek).

Check out The Boys poster from Fandom's "For the Love of Fans" campaign below. The poster features art from self-taught artist and illustrator of pop culture and poster art, Nan Lawson. The poster features Homelander, played by Antony Starr in the series, with an American flag cape. However, it's no ordinary cape, it's dripping in blood - a fitting tribute to Homelander's evil nature. See the poster here:

Fans can enter Fandom's "For the Love of Fans" contest on social media. To participate, The Boys buffs can share their passion for their fandom by sharing a story, photo, or video proving why they’re the ultimate fan of the franchise and tagging @getfandom with the hashtag #ForTheLoveOfFans on Twitter or Instagram. The contest begins on October 11.

The Boys stars Anthony Starr as Homelander, Dominique McElligott as Queen Maeve, Erin Moriarty as Annie/Starlight, Jessie T. Usher as A-Train, and Chace Crawford as The Deep - all superheroes and members (or previous members) of Vought's Seven. The titular Boys are played by Karl Urban as Billy Butcher, Laz Alonso as Mother's Milk, Jack Quaid as Hughie, Tomer Kapon as Frenchie, and Karen Fukuhara as Kimiko. The Boys season 3 will introduce new Supes including Jensen Ackles as Soldier Boy, Laurie Holden as Crimson Countess, and Miles Gaston Villanueva as Dummer Boy/Supersonic.

Fandom has more than 250,000 pages on every fandom topic imaginable from TV shows to video games and movies. Fandom's page for The Boys has 10.5 million fans, showing how popular the superhero show has become in a few short years. The Boys parodies superheroes and subverts the classic stories of good vs. evil with complex characters who do bad things for good reasons.
