The 90 Day Fiancé franchise has created over a dozen spin-off shows, though only a handful of them have been led by one cast member. Chantel Jimeno, née Everett, currently stars on The Family Chantel season 3, while Darcey Silva joins her twin sister Stacey Silva on Darcey & Stacey. However, 90 Day Fiancé fans think other cast members would be capable of carrying their own shows better than the likes of Chantel and Darcey.
Season 6 of 90 Day Fiancé: Happily Ever After? saw the Potthast family, led by 90 Day Fiancé personality Libby Castravet, vying for their chance in the spotlight. Libby and her husband Andrei Castravet dealt with nonstop drama from her siblings, Jenn, Becky, and Charlie. Many viewers thought the Potthast family was playing into their problems for a shot at their own series. However, 90 Day Fiancé viewers panned the idea of the chaotic and villainous Potthast family having a show.
Viewers have voiced on numerous occasions that they want to see drama that is not problematic. That made the decision to cast franchise villains Big Ed Brown and Jesse Meester on 90 Day: The Single Life highly controversial. Instead, viewers would prefer to see some of the more authentic or genuinely interesting couples lead their own shows for entertainment that can also come across as authentic.
Jihoon Lee had a memorably rocky relationship with infamous franchise personality Deavan Clegg on 90 Day Fiancé: The Other Way. Though fans were initially rooting for the couple, Deavan soon revealed she was deeply immature and hellbent on blaming Jihoon for all of her issues. As Deavan has now moved on with her boyfriend Christopher Park, viewers have voiced they would also like to see Jihoon find love. Fans have rallied behind Jihoon since his split from Deavan, as viewers find him to be far more likable than his estranged wife. Since Jihoon wasn't cast on The Single Life season 2, some viewers have called for TLC to offer him his own spin-off show that sees him looking for love.
Kenneth Niedermeier and Armando Rubio are currently the only happy couple on The Other Way season 3. The couple is dealing with some family tension, but Kenny and Armando's relationship is by far the happiest, healthiest, and most normal out of the six couples featured. Viewers adore Kenny and Armando because their love story is very much genuine. Though the couple's happiness means there isn't often drama, many franchise fans still want to see Kenny and Armando navigate their life together as they raise Armando's daughter Hannah as a family. Kenny and Armando remain one of the most celebrated couples in the entire franchise.
Like Kenny and Armando, Avery Mills and Omar Albakour are one of the best-received couples from 90 Day Fiancé. The duo appeared on 90 Day Fiancé: Before The 90 Days and have since made it very clear that they are done with TLC. However, that hasn't stopped fans from wanting to see more of Avery and Omar. The American and Syrian couple fascinate many viewers, as they have truly gone the distance to be together. Avery adapted to Omar's culture and briefly moved to Dubai with him while he awaited his US visa. Avery and Omar now live in the United States and working on their education and careers. Viewers would love to see more of Avery and Omar's life together, as they are a genuine and motivated duo.
Molly Hopkins and her best friend Cynthia Decker already had a show together. However, the show took place before Molly entered the 90 Day Fiancé universe. Molly and Cynthia starred in Double Divas, a show that chronicled their work at their company, Livi Rae Lingerie. The two women have since won over 90 Day Fiancé fans with their hysterical commentary on Pillow Talk. Molly has hinted in the past that she would be interested in filming new content with Cynthia. Since Molly recently appeared on The Single Life season 1, it isn't a stretch to imagine TLC offering Molly and Cynthia their own show for real.
Jenny Slatten and Sumit Singh are one of the more controversial The Other Way couples, as many viewers are sick of their endless drama. However, some fans have noted that Sumit and Jenny are entertaining enough to carry their own show, as long as the drama shifted away from whether or not Sumit will marry Jenny or if his family will accept her. Some viewers have suggested seeing the couple travel around East Asia together so Jenny can react to going to new places. Since Jenny appears up for anything, this wacky travel show is also not out of the realm of possibilities, even if it is a stretch.
Before The 90 Days' memorable personality David Murphey is another spin-off show candidate who certainly has enough personality to lead his own show. David mesmerized fans with his relentless pursuit of the mysterious Ukrainian woman Lana. Though some viewers slammed TLC for essentially helping David stalk his online partner, many viewers were transfixed by David's pursuit of Lana. The American infamously spent six figures on his girlfriend despite never meeting her in person. David's delusions and persistency were off-putting to many viewers, though they were nonetheless captivating enough to be spun into a strange dating show that sees David looking for love.
The Johnson family's villain status hasn't stopped Colt Johnson's mother Debbie Johnson from being cast on The Single Life season 2. If 90 Day Fiancé fans have to see more of the Johnson family, many would prefer to view the family felines. Debbie and Colt might receive a lot of seemingly well-earned criticism, but they are excellent cat owners. 90 Day Fiancé fans might tune into a show that featured the family cats for a change of pace from Colt's relationship drama, Debbie's meddling personality, and the mother-son co-dependency.
