90 Day Fiancé: Cast Members Accused Of Having Great Big Egos

The stars of 90 Day Fiancé often get a big dose of fame after their first appearance in the franchise, and it’s no surprise that it can inflate their egos a bit. A steady stream of attention, good and bad, from fans generally has an impact on the way they see themselves, though that often feeds into their appeal.

With franchise fame comes Instagram followers, merchandising opportunities, Cameo requests galore, and more, and all that attention can change a person. But just because a cast member has gone on an ego trip doesn’t mean they’re a total villain to 90 Day Fiancé fans, and sometimes a little delusion makes the stars even more entertaining.

These are some of the stars whose fame has fed their egos, and fans love them all the more for it. Sometimes self-confidence pays off, and these cast members’ self-assuredness has made them more popular and compelling than ever.

Though Big Ed has garnered controversy over the last year, there’s no denying that he’s one of the most popular cast members—and it’s definitely gone to his head. The 90 Day: The Single Life star got his face tattooed on his leg, and that same design has popped up on merchandise he sells. However, he’s still the king of Cameo and that means Ed’s just as popular as he thinks he is.

Angela’s wild antics and larger-than-life attitude have only gotten more pronounced over the years, and it’s clear that her opinion of herself has risen with her popularity. She’s been spending her time post-show partying and celebrating her 90-pound weight loss. The 90 Day Fiancé star is clearly loving her new body and certainly given her ego a big boost.

In the past, fans have accused Stephanie of craving attention, and they may be right. She’s gained a solid following on Instagram and OnlyFans and recently launched her own NSFW media sharing platform. That’s likely to give anyone a big head, and the 90 Day Fiancé: Before the 90 Days star has certainly accomplished a lot. Stephanie may have a big ego, but she’s earned it.

From what viewers have seen on 90 Day Fiancé, Natalie clearly has a high opinion of herself. She’s been vocal about being more intelligent than her ex-husband Mike Youngquist and often pursues opportunities that put her in the spotlight. However, many fans still back Natalie over Mike and find her more entertaining than egotistical. Natalie may not be writing her book anymore, but with her upcoming appearance on The Single Life, fans will definitely be seeing more of the self-assured Ukrainian.

It’s true that Julia often possesses an I-know-better-than-you attitude, but viewers still find her wildly entertaining. In her relationship with husband Brandon Gibbs, it’s Julia’s way or the highway, and it’s a dynamic that seems to work for them. Julia’s self confidence was on full display when she danced provocatively for a fitness dance class instructor audition, and even though she didn’t get the job, Julia’s likely to say she nailed it. It’s exactly the sort of thing viewers like to see from her, and Julia always delivers.

The 90 Day Fiancé franchise’s resident party boy, Jovi doesn’t have the same concerns about his maturity level that many fans do, and that’s just fine with him. The father of one still likes drinking and going to strip clubs, and no amount of criticism has made an impact on Jovi’s ego. The New Orleans native seems to be riding high on his newfound fame and popularity from 90 Day Fiancé fans who can’t get enough of him and his adorable family.

Although Andrew tried to cultivate a ‘nice guy’ image at the start of 90 Day Fiancé season 8, he grew to develop a bad reputation. However, that reputation only made him more popular (or at least notorious). The extra attention definitely went to his head, and the former “Kind Dragonrebranded himself as 90 Day Fiancé villain, D-Bag Drew. Andrew is unlikely to pop up on the franchise ever again, after his dramatic temper tantrum on the Tell-All, but the fame he’s amassed appears to have satiated his ego.

As one of the 90 Day Fiancé season 1 OG’s, Paola has certainly earned some bragging rights, and after getting a taste of the spotlight, she’s hungry for more. The Colombian beauty loves to get praise for her provocative Instagram selfies and recently Paola kickstarted a wrestling career as Paola "Blaze." Paola’s love for attention doesn’t get in the way of the love for her son Axel, but there’s no denying she thrives in the light of praise from fans.

Colt may have seemed shy when he first appeared on the franchise, but as his popularity grew, so did Colt’s ego. As Colt gained fans, his self-confidence increased, to the point where he felt comfortable wearing a speedo on a Brazilian beach. Though many fans find him cringey, they still enjoy following Colt on social media and boosting his ego. Colt has even slid into fans’ DMs before, indicating just how confident he is now.

If Colt has a big ego, then his ex-wife Larissa definitely has one too. Most of her focus is on transforming her body into her ideal image. Though she gets criticized for her many plastic surgeries, fans’ body shaming doesn’t bother Larissa, because whether good or bad, she’s getting attention—and that makes her money. Larissa knows just how popular she is, even though she’s not in the franchise anymore, and it’s probably gone to her head.

For 90 Day Fiancé stars, it’s easy to fall prey to an inflated ego—with so much attention from fans and potential for profit, it’s nearly impossible not to not feel more cocky and self-confident. These cast members have put themselves on a pedestal because reassurance from fans and followers is all they need to feel like a superstar.
